Rebecca Clower
Born to a Costa Rican–American family, Rebecca “Becky” Clower has always felt deeply connected to Costa Rica—the place she now calls home. A passionate entrepreneur and wellness advocate, she brings her vision for beauty, balance, and community to Alora Day Spa.
Rebecca is also the Founder and CEO of Blue Water Properties of Costa Rica, one of the country’s most recognized real estate companies. Her dedication to creating meaningful experiences and supporting local growth extends far beyond real estate—into every detail of Alora Spa’s atmosphere of relaxation and renewal.
As co-owner alongside Cathy, Rebecca’s focus is on cultivating a space where guests can truly unwind, connect with nature, and experience the essence of luxury in Playa Flamingo.

Her career blends technical mastery, creativity, and a deep understanding of individual expression and confidence.
Passionate about helping others look and feel comfortable in their own skin, Katherine finds joy in the creative process — especially in the finishing touches that bring each style to life. Her approach is guided by empathy, attention to detail, and genuine dedication to every client’s well-being.

With over 21 years of experience in the wellness industry, Janeth López López is one of Alora Day Spa’s most beloved and experienced therapists. Her deep passion for holistic care and attention to detail make her an essential part of the team.
Trained in massage therapy, barbering, and facial aesthetics, Janeth brings skill, sensitivity, and positive energy to every treatment. Her specialty is relaxing and therapeutic massages, which she performs with mastery and heart—helping every client experience true harmony and renewal.
For Janeth, “making clients happy” is more than a philosophy; it’s her daily purpose. She believes that well-being begins with balance—of body, mind, and energy—and she strives to create that sense of serenity that defines Alora Day Spa.
Having worked in the Flamingo area for over two decades, Janeth draws inspiration from the ocean’s calm and the natural beauty that surrounds her. Outside of the spa, she loves creating unique drinks and cooking, passions that reflect her creativity and her love for sensory experiences both inside and outside her work.

With over six years of experience in the beauty and wellness industry, Michelle Blanco brings a bright spirit and a passion for detail to every treatment she performs. Her journey began at just 14 years old, working in her mother’s salon—an experience that inspired her lifelong love for helping others look and feel their best.
Certified in massage therapy and holding a professional manicurist degree, Michelle has built her expertise across multiple areas of wellness and aesthetics. Her favorite services include lashes, nails, facials, and waxing, but her true specialty lies in nail design, where her precision and creativity shine through every detail.
Michelle believes in creating an atmosphere of tranquility and harmony, ensuring each guest feels relaxed, cared for, and radiant. For her, working in Playa Flamingo is more than a job—it’s a joy. She loves spending her days in a space filled with positive energy, surrounded by the natural beauty and peaceful rhythm of the coast.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys cooking, a hobby that allows her to express her creativity and share happiness through flavors—just as she does through her spa treatments.
